Lakes Region Mental Health Center, formerly Genesis Behavioral Health is a private, non-profit organization designated by the State of New Hampshire as the community mental health center serving twenty-four municipalities in Belknap and southern Grafton Counties. Founded in 1966, Lakes Region Mental Health Center provides comprehensive mental health treatment for people living with – and recovering from – mental illness and/or emotional distress. In Fiscal Year 2021, LRMHC’s 200 employees served 3,956 children, adults, older adults and families and provided $284,000 in charity care.
