Three accomplished and hilarious stand-up comedians with remarkable former lives have announced the beginning of a national tour. Paul D’Angelo is a former Boston-area Assistant District Attorney and criminal defense trial attorney who simultaneously became one of the nation’s top comics. Christine Hurley, who is still married to her high school sweetheart, was a homemaker who raised five children before making a name for herself on the comedy scene, and Mitch Stinson is a former United States Navy pilot and flight instructor who made over two-hundred aircraft carrier landings during his military career before taking the stage for the first time. All three eventually said, “Take this job and shove it!” and left their careers to became successful stand-up comics. The show’s headliner, Paul D’Angelo, has headlined A-List comedy clubs around the country for more than thirty years and he has performed at many other famed entertainment venues, ranging from the legendary Friar’s Club and the Waldorf Astoria’s main ballroom in New York City, to the main showroom at Harrah’s Casino and Caesar’s Palace. Paul co-starred in Showtime’s popular stand-up movie, The Godfathers of Comedy, and is the author of two hysterical, multiple award-winning books. Feature act Christine Hurley has fittingly earned the title, “The Queen of Boston Comedy.” Christine was honored to perform at the Boston Garden for Denis Leary’s 21st annual ‘Comics Come Home’ event, and she was recently invited to appear at the prestigious 2017 ‘Just for Laughs’ International Comedy Festival in Montreal. Opening act Mitch Stinson has performed in numerous comedy venues throughout the country and was the winner of ‘Rhode Island’s Funniest Stand-Up’ contest. Individually, night-after-night and year-after-year, this former prosecutor, housewife and naval aviator have proven ‘beyond a reasonable doubt’ to appreciative audiences across the country, that dumping their old jobs was the best decision they’ve ever made… and now these three friends have come together to deliver ninety minutes of hilarity in a live comedy performance that you don’t want to miss.
